The effects of laser beams with different wave lengths on left anterior descending coronary artery
Introduction: Lasers have found a wide field of use after. Theodore Maiman developed first operating laser in 1960. Health sector is one of these fields. Applications in cardiovascular surgery field are yet new and promising applications. Material and Method: The aim was to investigate the usability of lasers in different wavelength (980 nm and 1470 nm fiber laser) in coronary artery surgery. The effects of 980 nm and 1470 nm fiber lasers on left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD) were evaluated.
Urbanism in Silchar: Perspective of Louis Wirth
In general parlance area which is designated as town or city by state machinery have perceived as urban. Urban area is defined in the sense of demography that is a place having considerable size of population, political significance and economic and commercial importance. But there is inevitable need for researcher in understanding urbanism termed by sociologist like Louis Wirth in urban areas. Indian cities vary in terms of size, population and commercial and industrial activities.
Taste evaluation of branched-Chain amino acids supplementationfor improving adherence of cirrhotic patients
Background/Aims: Branched-chain amino acids (BCAA) are valuable in the treatment of liver cirrhosis because they increase serum albumin levels. However, poor adherence to BCAA may adversely affect prognosis. One cause of poor adherence is the problem of BCAA taste. We undertook a BCAA taste of questionnaire survey among cirrhotic patients. Materials and Methods: The patients taking BCAA granules or unflavored jelly, and jelly with 10 different flavors for elemental diet added (total of 12 preparations), evaluated their flavor on a 5-point scale.
Identification of aflatoxins in peanut butter candy marketed in campos GERAIS, MG, Brazil
Aflatoxins are the mycotoxins that can cause the more significant harm to humans and animals, due to its high toxicity, wide occurrence, and carcinogenic, mutagenic, teratogenic and immunosuppressive properties. In this perspective, the present study aimed to verify the presence of aflatoxins in peanut butter candy samples “paçocas” marketed in the city of Campos Gerais - MG. The technique used for the separation and identification of substances was the thin layer chromatography prior to liquid-liquid extraction.
Influenza virus undergoes new mutation- to h7n9
In the year of 2013, in China, in human infections, the influenza A virus (H7N9) was diagnosed for the first time, which is a subtype of influenza A virus, of avian origin. Since its discovery, this virus has caused a large number of cases of the disease, thus aiming to gather important information about this virus, such as its occurrence and epidemiology, a descriptive study was developed, from the cases of development of Influenza A H7N9, reported throughout the world, observing the zoonotic characteristics presence.
Evaluation of fracture resistance and failuremodeof thin-walled roots restored with different post systems
The objective of this manuscript was to evaluate the fracture resistance and failure mode of roots of bovine incisors with the root canal purposely enlarged, reinforced with different restorative materials and compared with intact roots restored with cast post and core. In this manuscript 75 bovine inferior central incisors were selected, being sectioned transversally and leaving only 14 mm of root. A standardized wear sequence was used to make them fragile, leaving the remaining walls with 0.5 to 0.7 mm thick in the cervical edge.

Morphometric analysis of the effect of royal jelly on the vasospastic femoral artery in rats: An experimental study
This study aimed to examine the efficacy of royal jelly, which has potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, on the vasospastic femoral artery in rats. In total, 24 Wistar- albino strain rats were divided into three groups: group 1, control (n = 8); group 2, vasospasm (n = 8) and group 3, vasospasm + royal jelly treatment (n = 8). The wall thickness (W) of the femoral arteries and the luminal diameters (L) were morphometrically measured. Data were analyzed using the SPSS software. Statistical significance was set at an alpha level of p < 0.05.
İmportance of ki 67 value for pathologic complete response in locally advanced breast cancer patients receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy
Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) improves overall survival and renders possible breast-conserving treatment in locally advanced breast cancer. Association of Ki-67 and pCR is controversial.181 patients who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy between 2010 and 2017 years, were scanned. We investigated association between Ki-67 levels obtained before NACT and pCRs after NACT.
