Agriculture of Bangladesh is predominated by rice production as almost all fourteen million farm families grow it in three-forth of the total arable land of the country. Apart from contributing to food security, labor-intensive rice production also provides employment to the majority of rural households. Since farmers immensely depend on rice production, any change in crop selection may reshape their livelihood. Hence, the study aims to investigate the causes and consequences of transformation of rice cultivation into mango orchards.

Aim: To evaluate high pressure levels and risk factors of adolescents in high school of a federal institution. Method: Transversal, analytical and descriptive study, with 96 high schools within the period of March to June of 2016 in a federal institution of the Northeast of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The data collection was carried out using a form of sociodemographical and clinical characterization composed by: anthropometric measures, high blood pressure and health background.

The best asset for developing any society lies on investment in human capital, especially through education. Free basic education has been viewed as a panacea to the development of human capital, especially in the third world countries. One of these countries, such as Nigeria in West Africa, has compulsory policy on free basic education. However, despite heavy investment in the sector, access to basic education for the girl child remains a challenge.

The primary concern of the study was to determine the status of Home Economics and Livelihood Education Practicum Building (HELEPB) of the private elementary schools as basis for constructing or renovating suitable and conducive HELEPB for a quality teaching and learning process. It utilized descriptive survey method of research. The participants of the study were stakeholders of the private elementary schools namely: parents, alumni, faculty staff and administrators.

Introduction: Despite the progress made in the epidemiological scenario of leprosy, a great problem persists, there are numerous reports of cases of leprosy in the age group of less than fifteen years. In view of the above, the present study aims to analyze the tendency of leprosy in children under 15 years of age, through an integrative review of the literature. Methodology: An exploratory study with a qualitative approach was developed. The methodology consisted of bibliographical research to construct an integrative review of the literature.

The present study aims to analyze the occurrence and characteristics of chronic pain on State Policemen in training, evaluating possible preventive and/or corrective effects of self-regulated attitudes. It uses quantitative techniques of exploratory and descriptive nature. As instrument for collection of data, it applied a pain inventory with participants from the Centro de Formação de Praças (CFAP) in Belém, Pará. The sample consisted of 32 privates in training.
