Tourism development in Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh India

Tourism is important. It covers many aspects of our society. Tourism is one of the most developing and promising of the present time. Indiscriminate use of tourism endangers the environment. To safeguard a place from overuse, various world organizations like World Tourism Organization (WTO), The Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) and the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) have come up with certain policies.

Solving lte handover problem using a new fuzzy logic optimization technique

In cellular networks, the contradiction between traffic demands and network resources is very prominent, also mobile users can move inside the heterogeneous networks from cell to another cell. Aiming at solving these issues, efficient handover (HO) mechanisms are more and more concerned to enhance mobility management. In this paper a new handover optimization algorithm for long term evaluation (LTE) network based on fuzzy logic is presented, named Fuzzy Logic for LTE Handover (FLLH).

Design and fabrication of self aiming and engaging gun (Saeg)

This project involves the complete system design and construction of a SAEG to replace an armed guard. We aimed to develop a compact and highly mobile defence system that allows operational flexibility. The SAEG can autonomously track and shoot at moving targets, while also allowing a user to remotely access and control the gun via computer. The mobility, hardiness, and functionality of this system allows a reliable replacement for human beings in harsh and hostile environments; ultimately sparing a life.

Experimental investigation on thermoelectric generator system for performance enhancement

Experimental Investigation on thermoelectric generator system consisting couple of Thermoelectric Generator modules using two different energy sources, one is solar water heater and the other is gas cartridge heating torch is carried out. Solar energy is used to heat the water through solar water heater to supply heat at the hot side of Thermo Electric Generator (TEG) creating the temperature difference for power generation. This concept is suitable for hot atmosphere like summer season in India, solar radiation is high.

Vegetative performances, chemical composition and feeding value of soybean under impact of water deficit and spider mites

A pot experiment was conducted to investigate the vegetative performances, chemical composition and feeding value of soybean under impact of water deficit and spider mites as well as the possibility to their overcome through imidacloprid treatment. The development of aboveground mass, root mass and biochemical composition of soybeans were influenced by the water deficit and mites, but the sensitivity of these parameters to the action and interaction of these stress factors was different.

Performance evaluation of sweet sorghum lines for bio-ethanol and grains under pangasinan condition (3 trials)

The general objective of the study is to conduct evaluation trial of five (5) sweet sorghum lines under Pangasinan condition. Specifically, it aims to determine their agronomic characteristics and identify and recommend varieties that are suitable for ethanol production. This paper highlighted the results of the three (3) trials conducted from October 2007 to February 2009.

Relationships between relative growth rate, leaf nitrogen and leaf phosphorus in 17 herbaceous species of tropical dry deciduous forest of vindhyan highlands

The present study analyses relationship between relative growth rates (RGR), leaf nitrogen and leaf phosphorus. A range of leaf attributes was measured for 17 herbaceous species in four contrasting habitats fortnightly from   July to September (2006-2007). All herbaceous vegetation in 5 randomly located plots within each of four sites was clipped at ground level and analyzed fortnightly during the study period. RGR shows positive relationship with leaf nitrogen and leaf nitrogen.

Study the distribution of zooplankton population in the estuarine environment of manakudy

The present study was carried out in Manakudy estuary over a period of one year  May 2014 - April  2015. The collection was made on every month in the morning 7-9 a.m at regular intervals from the selected six stations. In each station, three spots were randomly fixed. Identified zooplankton species are grouped into Copepod, Rotifer, Cladocera, and Protozoa. The total number of 25 species were reported. Among these, 12 species belonged to Copepod, 5 species belonged to Rotifer, 2 species belonged to Cladocera and 6 species belonged to Protozoa. Copepod was found to be the dominant.

Perovskite solar cells: a quantum leap in solar research

Organic–inorganic metal halide perovskites are recently proved to be suitable candidates for application in solar cells. Devices made of perovskite show efficiencies from 3.8% in 2009 to National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) certified efficiency of 22.1% in 2016 making this the fastest-advancing solar technology to date. CH3NH3PbI3 and CH3NH3PbI3-xClx are currently the front-and-center materials for high efficiency perovskite solar cell.

A comparative studies of two silkworm species in raigarh district for high quality yield

The sericulture industry is very unique and popular for its high valued textile fiber, agricultural outputs including, cocoons and cottage based labor intensive and for the production of high quality textiles. An attempt has been made to formulate a strategic model to recognizethe potential strength and challenges of sericulture in Raigarh district at Chhattisgarh state. We report results of the comparative studies relating to the silk production and productivity at Raigarh district from the silkworm species Antheraea mylitta and Bombyx mori.
