Causality between micro-finance and poverty in Ethiopia: An empirical investigation

Lack of finance is one of the major bottlenecks for economic development; as access to formal institutional credit is very limited. Thus, the government of Ethiopia brought micro finance institution into formal sector by issuing proclamation No. 40/1996 that empowered the National Bank of Ethiopia to issue licenses to supervise and regulate micro financing business in the country. Omo Micro Finance has been operational and has managed to reach more needy poor people who otherwise have no access to financial resources from banks.

Clitics of manggarai language: the case of central manggarai dialect in west flores indonesia

To obtain data this study involved informants as a data source from whom recording speech was done and to whom relevant  Indonesian sentences were given to be translated into Central Manggarai Dialect (CMD). Text document by Verheijen (1977) was also used to triangulate. For the purpose of validity and reliability, the data were discussed also with the researcher’s colleagues particularly those of native speakers of CMD. Then the concept of Zwicky in Spencer (1991) about simple clitics special clitics and the base (bound base or root bound) were used as theoretical guide and base.

Modification of the internationalisation model of johanson and vahlne

The internationalisation model by Johanson and Vahlne describes the typical internationalisation paths of companies. However, the internationalisation model does not completely explain new forms of internationalisation — as seen in born global companies — or the various internationalisation paths of all company sizes. Additionally, the current internationalisation model cannot explain the reason that companies experience different intensities of internationalisation or the reason that companies remain at certain stages of internationalisation.

Teacher’s efficacy of Arabic pre-school teachers with reference to al-Buraimi, Oman

Arab countries are developing their educational standards at various levels. Schools are the basic frame of education and school teachers are playing a primary role of every student’s life. Banduras self-efficacy and teacher’s efficacy models were considered and the simple scale which may be suitable to their work style. Five major variables were considered to identify the beliefs of the teachers.

Disturbance fields in maxillo-facial area as a reason for idiopathic urticaria and angioedema

In search of other causes of idiopathic angioedema and urticaria we investigated the possible consequences of the disturbance fields in MFA in two patient groups: group 1 - patients with angioedema (n = 11) and group 2 - patients with urticaria and angioedema (n = 39), in total 50 people. We found that compared with the control group (n = 60 healthy patients) there is a statistically significant difference between higher values of DMFT index and presence of active foci in MFA. Angioedema is more typical for patients of a higher mean age (56,5 ± 10,59).
