Physiochemical characterization of the raw milk marketed in the municipal district of Pombal, Paraíba, Brazil

He is considered that about 20 to 30% of the production of bovine milk in Brazil is marketed without sanitary inspection, or appropriate thermal treatment. Therefore, it is of great importance to evaluate the milk in these places, like this, the study had as objective analyzes the physiochemical characteristics in samples of raw milk marketed in the municipal district of Pombal, Paraíba, Brazil.

A new approach to solve the time-dependent three-dimensional advection-diffusion equation applied to model air pollution dispersion in the planetary boundary layer

In this work we present an analytical solution for the time-dependent three-dimensional advection-diffusion equation to simulate the pollutant dispersion in the Planetary Boundary Layer (PBL). In this new approach the advection-diffusion equation is solved using a combination of the separation of variables and GILTT methods. The great advantage is that, by this way, we avoid the numerical inversion done in the previous works in literature using the GILTT method. We also report numerical simulations and statistical comparison with experimental data available in the literature.

The impact of scripted role-play on enhancing speaking abilities of grade seven students at lebanese private schools

Several approaches have been used to enhance speaking skills for English foreign language learners. Among these approaches is the role play. This study aimed to investigate the impact of implementing scripted role play technique for a period of seventeen weeks on the development and improvement of oral skills and attitudes of eighth graders at a private school in Lebanon. The participants of the study were 56 learners divided into two classes (30 in the treatment group and 26 in the control group). The lessons were given two hourly three time s a week.

Al-quran and multicultural education: developing multicultural education based on interpretation in al-quran

This research is a study based on literature review, the raised theme is Al-Qur'an and Multicultural Education: Initiating multicultural education based on interpretation in the Qur'an. A study of role commitment of teachers with reference to high and low emotional intelligence

Teachers are called future makers of nation. They are committed to various roles. For doing various role teachers must have emotional intelligence. In this study role commitment is studied with reference to their high and low emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence inventory by Subhra Mangal and TRCS by Dr. Meena Budhisagar and Madhulika Verma is used. Percentage analysis and 't' test is used for data analysis. In present study it is found that there is difference in level of emotional intelligence of both male and female teachers.

From pretending to reality: implementation of the therapeutic toy between hospitalized children

Playing for the child is the most important activity of his life. However, when the child becomes a patient in hospital treatment everything that is part of his daily life is transformed. The Therapeutic Toy is a way to mitigate the impacts caused by the hospitalization. The objective of this study was to evaluate the behavior of hospitalized children when they underwent nursing procedures after the therapeutic toy was applied. This is a qualitative descriptive approach.

Synthesis, growth and characterization on tartaric acid and urea (tau) mixed single crystals by slow evaporation method

A new semiorganic material of Tarataric acid and Urea (TAU) mixed crystals has been synthesized and successfully grown by the slow evaporation solution growth method. The grown crystals have been subjected to various characterization techniques such as single crystal XRD, SEM, FT-IR and UV-VISIBLE studies. XRD studies are used to carry out the crystallographic analysis. Fourier transform infrared spectum (FT-IR) is used to confirm the presence of various functional groups in the grown crystal. SEM studies are used to study the morphological identification.
