Teenage pregnancy is a public health issue due to the prevalence of complications for both the mother and child, and the Brazilian Legal Amazon has a high rate of teenage motherhood compared to other regions of the country. Among the strategies adopted by health managers, information communication technologies, when utilized in sexual education projects, can help in the dissemination of information on the use of contraceptives and other guidance for delaying pregnancy and reducing the chances of second pregnancies.

Comparative study of frequent itemset mining algorithms apriori and fp growth

In this paper generating frequent item sets are discussed: Apriori and FP-growth algorithm. In apriori algorithm candidates are generated and testing is done which is easy to implement but candidate generation and support counting is very expensive in this because database is checked many times. In the fp-growth, there is no candidate generation and requires only 2 passes over the database but in this the generation of fp-tree become very expansive to built and support is counted only when entire dataset is added to fp tree.

Principle of variable cost for information management in a network of dental clinics

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the benefits of using the variable cost principle for the generation of managerial information in ontological clinic. For that, an exploratory, qualitative-quantitative research was carried out in a private ontological clinic in Santa Catarina State. The data collection was carried throughout the study out on the spot, taking into account, the information passed during meetings with the managers of the organization.

O objetivo geral foi o de construir um Índice de Inovação do Setor Industrial de Vestuário na capital rondoniense. Os objetivos específicos foram: analisar o setor industrial de vestuário em face de dados estaduais cruzados, envolvendo o PIB, aspectos demográficos e a quantidade de indústrias do setor (1); elaborar o índice de inovação considerado para as indústrias do setor de vestuário portovelhense (2), e efetuar uma crítica fundamentada na operacionalidade deste índice, de modo a identificar o seu contexto operacional (3).

Obstacles of women entrepreneurial success in the case of chiro city

This study was designed to identify the major obstacles of women entrepreneurial success in chiro town, Oromia National regional state, Ethiopia. A total of 283 questionnaires were distributed and 202 questionnaires were filled and returned. Primary data were collected through questionnaires from 202 women enterprises. The collected data was processed and analyzed by using both descriptive and factor analysis statistical techniques (SPSS Version 22).

The impact of the capital and liquidity regulations on the banking sector after global economic and financial crisis: comparative advantage and disadvantage in risk monitoring

This study attempts to investigate the impact of the capital and liquidity regulations and identify awareness to the fact that the banks’ responses might create involuntary malevolence: a condensed supply of bank loans, incentives to securitize assets, and adverse incentives on bank risk monitoring. As a result the privately- based mechanisms that set most creditors at risk are the best way to increase the dependability of banking markets. It is argued that interbank debt should be put at risk because banks have a comparative advantage in risk monitoring.
