Effect of foot intrinsic muscle training in subjects with plantar fasciitis – A randomized clinical trial

Background: Flat foot or excessive pronation causes altered biomechanics of lower limb which leads to excessive mobility which puts increased stress on the plantar fascia. It has been found out that there is significant atrophy of foot intrinsic muscles in people with plantar fasciitis. Foot intrinsic muscle training is commonly used to control the excessive pronation. Studies have been done to know the effect of Foot intrinsic muscle training in normal subjects but no study is available in people with plantar fasciitis.

Prevalence of bovine fasciolosis in selected dairy farms of Addis ababa, Ethiopia

A cross sectional study on the prevalence of bovine Fasciolosis was carried out in selected dairy farms of in and around Addis Abeba of Ethiopia, aiming at determining the prevalence of fasciolosis. The farms are found in four sub-cities, locally called Kifile Ketemas. The dairy farms were under intensive and semi-intensive management systems. A total of 384 cattle were randomly selected and sampled which accounts for 95% (N=365) and 5% (N=19) of the samples for intensive and semi-intensive dairy farms, respectively.

Surgical minimally invasive treatment of spine metastases

Introduction: A radical surgery of spine metastases is not possible in many cases, especially by elder multimorbid patients. The specialness and possibilities the Cavity/Coblation-method in the operative treatment of 262 patients with spine metastases are here presented.
Materials and Methods: Patients of every age with vertebral destructions caused by spinal metastases were treated.

Rp-hplc method development and validation for the simultaneous determination of bromhexine and sulbactam in pharmaceutical dosage forms

Bromhexine is a mucolytic agent used in the treatment of respiratory disorders associated with viscid or excessive mucus. In addition, Bromhexine has antioxidant properties. Bromhexine is intended to support the body's mechanisms for clearing mucus from the respiratory tract. The present study is to develop and validate a suitable RP-HPLC method for simultaneous estimation of Bromhexine and Sulbactam in pharmaceutical dosage forms in accordance with the ICH guidelines. Altima C18 (150 x 4.6 mm, 5mm) column was selected as the stationary phase.

A new approach to clinical medicine by action rules

Action rules are based on congruent predicaments and strategies that can be triggered when possible transitions of objects occur from one stage to another. This study presents a new way of implementing actionable discoveries in regards to object-driven approaches. Non surgical endodontic management of open apex using biomatrix and mta: A case report

Assessment of free health service provision system in dilla town, South Ethiopia

Background: Access to basic health services of acceptable quality is still denied to many of the world’s poorest people, Identification or application procedure and screening criteria by local kebele administrator for free health services provision at public health facilities are not transparent.
Objective: The aim of the study was to assess free health service delivery system and the extent to which strict criteria are followed in granting free health services to the eligible poor in Dilla town, South Ethiopia.
