E-commerce in healthcare and pharmaceuticals is profoundly soaring, which is helping in expansion of both the online and offline availability of choices of purchasing medicines to the consumers. This step is eventually helping the Indian pharmaceutical Industry to cater to the needs of the consumers in a broader manner. The convenience provided by e-medicines is enabling the drift of the patients towards the online ordering modes from the offline ones, especially after the heightened users of World Wide Web now.

Evaluation of instructional delivery in gifted education programme in Nigeria

This study is a case study evaluation of the quality of the instructional delivery in the federal government college(centre for the gifted and talented) Suleja, Nigeria. Since 26 years of establishment of the centre, the aim of setting up the centre has been considered dwindling. This is why an independent assessment of the centre becomes a serious concern to researchers in order to review the instructional programme of the centre.

Evaluation of the overseas internship program planning

This study aimed to evaluate the overseas internship program planning for students at Indonesia Defense University (IDU). Evaluation is conducted to analyze adequate needs of the program, design and strategy, field study planning, readiness of students, academic advisors and keynote speakers, management planning, also facilities and budget. This study applied qualitative approach. Primary and secondary data were obtained through document studies, literature, observation, and interviews.

The disabled person and the labor market: legal terminology and forecasts

This article discusses the themes of disabled people and their relation with the labor market. In a first moment, there was an analysis of the terminological issue of the disabled person and, subsequently, there was a survey in respect of the laws that seek their inclusion in the labor market. Data from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics - IBGE (Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística) were also surveyed to verify the effectiveness of current legislation on the subject.

Decentralization of schools by default: challenges and opportunities in community schools on the copper-belt province of Zambia

This article is an extract from the study: ‘Decentralization and Quality Education in Community Schools on the Coper-belt Province’ which sought to investigate the decentralized structural and administrative challenges, as well as opportunities faced by community schools. A descriptive survey design was used in this study. Purposive sampling was used to select 45 head teachers, two District Education Board Secretaries, two District Resource Centre Coordinators and the Chief of Party of Education Development Centre, Time To Learn Project USAID, Zambia.

Men-fauna relations: drought and bad omen in the northeastern backlands

The man of the backlands in his daily experiences establishes a relationship with the wild fauna and flora, and in this relationship, he interprets the natural phenomena, as well as the behaviors of the animals, amongst them, the sounds emitted mainly the vocalization of birds. This paper records the influence of the beliefs associated with the birds amongst the dwellers at FazendaFervente, in the municipality of Ribeira do Amparo, state of Bahia, northeastern Brazil.

The world of work in the family health strategy from the nurses’ perspective

We aim to analyze how the world of work in the Family Health Strategy was configured in the first decade of the 2000s from the nurses’ perspective, especially with regard to permanent and continuing health education; selection and recruitment of professionals; and the guarantee of sufficient material resources, equipment and supplies for the operation of the health units and teams. It is a qualitative study, with a critical analytical approach, developed in a Brazilian city in the state of Bahia.
