Efficacy of auriculo therapy in improving sleep quality in university students

The research aimed to evaluate the quality of sleep in university students after intervention with Auriculotherapy. This is a convenience sample study composed of forty students from the initial periods of the bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy at the Centro Universitário Santo Agostinho. Four atrial acupuncture interventions were performed with metal spheres applied at the shenmen, heart, adrenal, and neurasthenia sites. Sleep quality was assessed using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). For statistical analysis, the SPSS program was used in version 20.0.

Facies, depositional environments and reservoir potential of khewra sandstone, eastern salt range, Pakistan

The Early Cambrian Khewera Sandstone is well exposed in the southern part of the eastern Salt Range in its type section, the Khewra Gorge. The 130 m thick succession has unconformable upper and lower contacts and is dominantly sandstone with minor claystone. In the lower part of the succession, fine-grained sandstone alternates with units of silty mudstone and a minor amount of shale. Flasers are the dominant sedimentary structure in the sandstone beds; asymmetrical ripples are abundant and burrows are moderately common, indicating a marine environment with rapidly changing current speeds.

Analytical method development of abamectin + imidaclopridby r-hplc

Abamectin is a natural product being used as an insecticide, which has the power of killing the worms, it is also being used as a plant parasitic nematodes. Imidacloprid is a chemical which has the property of neurotoxin to insects. by affecting the Central Nerve System (CNS) of insect and this causes the growth of the insect. The concentrations of these two molecules as a pesticide consider as an important combination against insecticide in the pest management programs.

Effect on foliar application of thio-urea on physiological, biochemical and yield potential in different wheat [triticum aestivum l.] cultivars under drought and irrigated conditions

The field experiments were conducted at Student Instructional Farm of CSAUAT Kanpur, during Rabi 2016-17 and 2017-18. The objective of investigation was to study the effect of foliar applied potassium nitrate and thio-urea with different doses on plant traits (physiological, biochemical, yield and its components) of two wheat varieties under drought and irrigated condition. It was designed in split-split plot design with three replications.

Beetles (coleoptera) abundance and diversity in two zones of intensive rubber production in côted'ivoire (bongo and toupah)

In order to study the abundance and diversity of beetlesinrubberagro systems, a study was conducted in Bongo and Toupahrespectively in the south and south-east of Côted'Ivoire. Beetle were sampled by the combination off our types of traps in different plantations aged from1to 5,6 to10 years, overthan 15 years old, and a forest as control. A total of 10874 beetles distributed in 55 families were collected. The distribution of beetles families in different groups according to their size, shows that abundant Beetle have a higher abundance than the common and rare ones.

Performance of the nurse in radiotherapy

Cancer is a public health problem with a high incidence and mortality rate. The study aims to analyze and discuss about the nurse's role in a radiotherapy unit. This is an experience report performed in a radiotherapy unit of a High Complexity Unit in an Oncology Center of a general hospital in the Northwest region of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. The insertion in the unit occurred through the Postgraduate Curricular Internship Lato Sensu in Oncology.

Descriptive study on treatment of manjalkamalainoi (jaundice) by traditional medical practitioners in Papanasam, Tirunelveli District

There was effective poly herbal treatment for manjalkamalainoi which practiced by one generation Christian traditional medical practitioners in Papanasam in 4th generation level. They were learnt knowledge from their grandmother and followed as same way without any changing treatment package. Treatment had been given to all patients in all age groups and average 50 patients a day. In descriptive study as snap shot of the view study concluded as; only one prepared poly herbal fresh poultice in oral administration with large diet restrictions for 03 months.

The pregnancy rate by intrauterine insemination (iui) in male factor infertility with sperm count less than three million sperm per milliliter of seminal fluid

Intrauterine insemination is one of the options for couples where the man has low sperm count (A.J. Goverde 2000). It is generally suggested in case of very mild oligospermia because this treatment requires a certain number of sperms to help in the process of fertilization which would not be possible in cases of severe oligospermia (A.J. Goverde 2000, K. Gezginç 2008). It is a simple, cost-effective technique that has usually good outcomes provided the female does not have any infertility issues resulting in a monthly pregnancy rate of 17.8.

Perception of the elderly on sexuality: A integrative review of the literature

Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the scientific publications pertinent to the perception of elderly persons about sexuality. Method: Integrative Review of Literature, held in databases: Latin American and Caribbean in Health Sciences (LILACS), Scientific electronic Library Online (SciELO), Nursing Database (BDENF), Electronic journals in psychology (PePSIC). For the search of the articles, three keywords indexed in the descriptors in Health Sciences (DeCS) were used: perception, sexuality (sexuality), elderly (elderly).
