Integration of hospital systems into medical education: A blended learning approach

The E-learning tools facilitate and extend students learning experiences beyond the boundaries of the classroom. These tools and applications include activities to increase the interaction among students themselves and between instructors and students on the other side. Medical education requires more practical sessions, and student involvement in medical procedures at various levels. E-learning design and implementation for medical education should be tailored to satisfy such needs.

The effect of cardiac rehabilitation on performing self-care activities based on orem’s self-care model among elderly people suffering from congestive heart failure; a randomized double-blind control

Introduction: Congestive heart failure (CHF) is one of the most common diseases among elderly people in which lack of knowledge about self-care can lead to negative consequences. Cardiac rehabilitation is one of the most important methods of therapy. Using Orem’s self-care model can also help the patient perform self-care activities.
Objectives: Investigating the effect of the cardiac rehabilitation on performing self-care based on Orem’s self-care model in elderly people suffering from CHF.

Calcium levels in the developing tali of human fetuses

The mineral component is the main constituent of bone and is important as it confers much of the hardness and rigidity to bone. Among all mineral, calcium is the major determinant of its mechanical properties. In the present study human fetal tali have been analyzed for calcium concentration, information is lacking in literature. None of the earlier studies considered calcium concentration in talus of human fetuses.
